Marketing yourself as a Freelancer

Freelancing services might sound easy to do,but they are not so. One might think after submitting their work, their job is over and they have nothing to do with the employer. However, this Attitude is incorrect as this will not help you to make big.

The main part is to let people know you. This can be by many methods which are available.Never lose your communication with the people. Remember,the more people you make contacts with,,the more you increase your resources to get work for. If you look at yourself as a 'BRAND" which requires a very high level of marketing,then probably you'll get what i am trying to say. Each person,whom you contact,,either offline or online,,makes a opinion about you and this opinion [If positive] is what makes a Brand sell and establish.

There are many methods which you can opt for:-
1. Sending E-mails is a good way to let people know about you and your services. You can send e-mails to various organizations, groups etc. However,,do not send any unsolicited e-mails[Spam]. This will only discourage the people. Send decent e-mails over a large period of time with your contact details.
2. You can start writing articles and send them to website owners, relating to the topic of their website and have a box at the bottom of the article, giving details about your services and this would work better if you have your own website, where they can link to.
3.You can give ads in various free classified sites,,newspapers,,magazines etc but this can be done only after some time. Never rush for anything.

Remember that good reputation is what you are asking for. Never compromise more on your bids. Let people know that they will get what they are paying for....
